Happy Homestay Penang at Gelugor is a new and budget apartment which perfectly located in the central of Penang Island at Bukit Gambier, Gelugor. Happy Homestay Penang at Gelugor is only a stone’s throw away to places and amenities like USM, Penang Bridge, E-Gate commercial centre, Queensbay Mall, Tesco, PISA/SPICE and George Town City Centre. Our unit is a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 queen-sized beds and 1 single bed that boast the most comfortable stay for 5 persons.We can also provide one additional bedding set at RM25/set/night for one person which can sleep maximum 6 persons in our apartment.

- Deposit Policy:
- We require a booking deposit amounting to 50% from total rental to hold your reservation. We shall collect the balance of total rental upon check-in and by cash only together with the security deposit of 1 day’s room rate (cash only).
- Rescheduling/Cancellation/No Show Policy:
- Once a reservation is confirmed, booking deposit is non-refundable for cancellation. For rescheduling request, please notify us by phone or email of any rescheduling of the booking at least 28 days before arrival date and rescheduling request is subject to availability.
7) House rules for guests
- This is a privately owned apartment and does not have any reception. Our guests are to contact Holiday House one day in advance to confirm on arrival time.
- Our staff will explain to you the functioning of all the equipment, and give you the keys and access card.
- Standard check in time 3pm and check out time 12pm. Check in time available from 3pm to 4pm, check out time available from 10am to 12pm.
- Early check in or delay in check out can be arranged subject to availability. Late night check-in is not available after 10pm.
- We will collect a security deposit of RM200 upon check in. This is fully refundable during check out if there are no damages, lost or massive dirt.
- A levy is chargeable for early check-in from 0800 to 1200 hours and late check-out from 1300 to 1800 hours at RM25/hour. Late check-out after 1800hours will incur equivalent to one day room rate.
- The vacation apartment can only be used for temporary and tourist household needs. It is furthermore not allowed to sublet the house, or parts of it, to third parties.
- The said premises or any part thereof shall not be used for any purposes other than as residential accommodation. Immoral or commercial activity is strictly forbidden.
- No smoking, pets, durians, explosive materials are allowed inside the property. Violation of this rule is subjected to a penalty of RM 100.
- Our holiday apartment is not liable for any loss or damage caused to a guest’s vehicle.
- Our holiday apartment does not accept liability for any accident, injury or misadventure. Guests are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements in respect of any injuries suffered by them, or caused by them to any third party.
- As this is a private apartment and have strict management policy , we appreciate our guest will behave themselves sensibly and observe the house rules to avoid complaint from neighbourhood and the management , also to make the place a better stay for you and other guest as well.
- Facilities are to be used with care and keep the area clean.
- No smoking, pets, durians, explosive materials are allowed.
- Loss of keys or access card is subject to a penalty of RM100.
- Guests are advised to switch off all lights and air-conditioner when leaving the room. Violation of this rule is subjected to a penalty of RM 100.
q.For long term stay customer, Minimum 7 nights & above, you are entitled 15% to 50% discount,
We will provide 25units of electricity and 800L of water per night as free of charge, any excessive amount will be charge as following:

water RM0.5 for 100L
8) Cleaning Policy
- On arrival you will find your property clean and tidy, if you would like additional cleaning during your stay, we offer our cleaning services for an additional cost of RM68 each time.
9) In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Happy Homestay at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the house, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.Incredible most affordable rate as low as RM180/night during weekdays and RM200/night during weekends !!
